13th- 15-th century
A standard leather belt knotted after the buckle supporting a leather pouch and dagger, with a small tail hanging down.
Leather gloves were worn for hawking and riding. These became elaborate in the later 14th century and into the 15th century for the upper class, made in metals with inset stones.
Embroidery & Embellishments
Embroidery was at its finest in the 13th to middle of the 14th century. It was used extensively on many items including on hats, belts gloves and more.
Embroidery quality diminished after the great plague de to most of the highly skilled specialist embroiders dying off and the remaining having to pick up the work load.
